Tom is presently a part-time consultant to the football industry. In 2009, Tom became the first UK candidate ever to embark on doctorate in the research area of football finance. He received a scholarship from Henley Business School to engage in this study. The previous year, he graduated from the University of Liverpool’s prestigious MBA in Football Industries with distinction, winning the Premier League Best Dissertation award for a football club valuation model that was developed in tandem with Professor Tom Cannon.
