My apologies but I though yesterday was awful but it was top class compared to the stuff served up for us this afternoon as we build up toward the Epsom Derby when at least we should be able to guarantee every horse in action is playing it’s best.
No point in messing about with small talk on a day like today but I have heard good things about the unraced Red Adair, a son of Redback who should be even better with age but is reported to be working pretty well regardless. He isn’t Royal Ascot class but then I doubt any of these are to be fair and he will not need to be of any class to take this at the first time of asking and he is expected to do so in the 6.45pm at Folkestone tonight.
One other small bet will have to do today and I guess Queen’s Star is as good a bet as any. Trained by Andrew Balding, who I have a lot of time for, the daughter of With Approval hated the soft ground on her Ffos Las debut but also needed the education and ought to be a different proposition tonight. The maiden at 8.15pm here will not take a lot of winning to be fair and she seems to have as good a chance as any.
Wednesday Suggestions:
Sensible bets for Punters
1 pt Win QUEEN’S STAR 8.15pm Folkestone
Silly Bet for Dreamers
1pt Win RED ADAIR 6.45pm Folkestone
