Both Sheffield teams need to win to keep in with a chance of automatic promotion. United just have the upper hand, but both teams have tricky games.
United play Stevenage who need the points to secure a play off place. If they slip up the Sheff Wed can overtake them and both have easier games next week, on paper anyway!
The Blades are without super marksmen Ched Evans who has been convicted of crime on is now not in the picture. He will be a big loss for Danny Williams’ men but they still should be able to fight off a determined Stevenage.
Losing to the MK Dons last week was United’s 1st defeat in 11, so a quick return to winning ways is needed to keep them as favourites to go up. 3 wins for Stevenage and just 1 defeat in 12 means it is going to be a tough day for United, but with what is at stake, they should just pull through.
The Owls take on Brentford who are unbeaten at home in 4, but need miracles if they are to get into the play off places, which won’t happen, so pride is probably all they are playing for. Sheffield Wed are firing on all cylinders. Unbeaten under Dave Jones and 12 games, the Owls will take this to the last weekend of the season.
Sheffield Utd are 1.8 with Bwin 20£ in Free bets!, doesn’t seem too good a price, but in context it looks a decent price to take, considering what is at stake. I think it may be shorter on the day, so if you fancy it, take the price now!
