We’ve reached the semifinals of the Africa Cup of Nations and almost as a rule these matches are expected to be low scoring since a place in the final is at stake.

Therefore you would very high prices on goals in a match like this, and if Ghana’s makes a hattrick then this bet will flushed down the drain.

It’s the 3rd time in a row that they’ve reached the semifinal, last time they won 1-0, in 2008 they lost 1-0.

However, I still think the odds of going for just one more goal are too attractive here. Both have played 4 matches to get here, and for Zambia these have ended 2-1, 2-2, 1-0 and 3-0.

When it comes to Ghana their matches have ended 1-0, 2-0, 1-1 and 1-1 in ordinary time.

So both have scored in all of their matches so far, while 75 percent of their matches have offered at least 2 goals. That’s why I find this bet the most attractive one here.

Ivory Coast – Mali
In the 2nd semifinal I simply find the odds of under 2.5 goals too high to resist. The Ivory Coast have played 6 matches on the trot without conceding a single goal.

6 of their last 7 matches have gone under 2.5 goals, and the same goes for 4 of Mali’s last 5 matches.

1 year ago, almost to the date since they played a friendly on February 8, Ivory Coast beat Mali by 1-0.
