Mali opened the finals with a win over Guinea, but is still facing the situation of Guinea occupying the second place now, which gives access to the next round.
They do this because Botswana totally fell apart against Guinea and lost by 6-1, while Mali lost to Ghana.
It was the second defeat of the 2 possible for Botswana, who came here with only 1 defeat in 12 matches, but something has gone wrong at this tournament, and there must be a certain amount of disappointment stuck in them over the huge defeat.
Such disappointment could lead to a thirst for revenge, but I also believe that Mali has something they really want avenge.

Mali was left furious, and tried to protest about match fixing. Imagine how they’ll feel if they once again should go out in controversiel circumstances!
They should be better than Botswana, and I bet that they’ll beat them by at least two goals, but with the cover of the deposit being returned if Mali win by 1 goal.
