League 1 – Carlisle to keep pushing.

Carlisle United are currently 7th in  league 1 and have a real chance of getting into the play off places this weekend at the expense of lowly Walsall.

United are unbeaten at home in 9 and had a great 3-2 victory over high flying Sheffield United last week, and have seen off in form Leyton Orient too since then. They also average 2 goals per game at home while Walsall have just 1 away victory all season.

Walsall do have a tendency to draw away from home as they play 5 at the back, they have only conceded 14 goals in 12 away games this season, so it does work on occasions, but Carlisle will be too strong, and current form will ease them to victory.

Lee Miller and Francois Zoko are in great form up front, with the latter impressing at the moment, so expect one of these names on the score sheet, if not both!

A little side note….. United haven’t lost when Zoko finds the net, so if he does score we should be on our way.
