Handball Picks – European Championships 2012 – Semifinals

Spain – Denmark
Denmark moved into the second round with the slimmest of chances of making it to the semifinals, but lo and behold, wonders never seize so here we have a repitition of the semifinal from the World Cup last year, where Denmark took down Spain by 28-24.

This time it looks as though Spain is ready for a revenge. They are the only team to remain unbeaten during the whole tournament which is a massive achievement, and certainly can’t harm their confidence.

They seem to play more like a team this year, instead of relying on individual achievements and must be very eager to secure a place in the final instead of looking at bronze just like last year.

Croatia – Serbia
A monster of a match and one can only wonder how the referees will conduct this affair. Croatia was the only side to go through the first round witout losing a point, but Serbia has taken full advantage of their home advantage, and coming this far does anyone dare to say that they can’t go all the way?

I certainly won’t, and if the referees aren’t mentally strong enough the fanatic crowd could mean the world to the Serbian-team is this thriller. It looks close, which is why we are going for the best price.
