League 1 Treble

Looking at the current form in league 1 we see 3 matches where in form teams take on struggling opponents. The 3 teams make up a decent treble and this is what we are having, with a small wager to build up the pot.

First up are Sheffield Wednesday, who have only 1 defeat in 11 games and currently 3rd in league 1. They take on Leyton Orient who come to Hillsbrough undefeated in 6, but only 2 wins from those games. Gary Megson has the Owls in full flight at the moment and with an unbeaten home record this season, the points stay at home.

Next we have City rivals and enemies Sheffield United, who are also in good form. They face a tricky game away at local rivals Chesterfield, but The Spirites are really struggling in form with  only 1 win in 11 games. The Spirites also concede far too many goals and haven’t had a clean sheet in 11.

The Blades have just re-signed formidable goal scorer James Beattie too, so all the signs are for an away victory.

Finally we have Stevenage Borough who are soaring up the league. 4 wins and 2 draws in their last 6, and only conceding 2 goals in the process shows why they are top of the current form. They take on lowly Walsall who in turn have only 1 win in 15 games! They are currently in the bottom 4 and are conceding at the rate of 2 goals per game.
