Gilles Simon – Robin Soderling 2
Söderling has been in the final for last 2 years and lost them both, so obviously he most be very eager to make it third time lucky. Simon has reached the second week of the French Open for the first time ever, but I doubt he’ll be able to follow Söderling on clay. The Swede already holds a firm grip over Simon with 5-2 in the h2h, winning the last 3 on the trot.
Maria Sharapova – Agnieszka Radwanska 1
It’s very simple here; at least before the match. Sharapova could easily be a bigger favourite than the odds indicate, as she holds a firm 6-1 h2h grip over Radwanska, who has been proceeded as far as this in Paris. Sharapova has won her last 5 meetings with the Polish girl and has her eyes set on the final.
Andrea Petkovic – Maria Kirilenko under 20.5 games
These 2 girls have met each other twice before, Petkovic has won them both and both times in 19 games. Therefore nearly 2.00 on a similar outcome seems well worth a shot.
