X Factor Live show 10 – The Final

The theme of this week’s show is:   Celebrity Duets

It’s final weekend with only 4 remaining acts it’s going to be the biggest weekend of their lives! One act leaves Saturday night as it’s all down to the public vote. That act will be the one with the fewest votes, strange voting was opened before any acts had perform!

Opening the show was the X Factor finalists, all 16 singing ‘What a feeling’ By Irene Cara. It was nice to see all off those who made it the shows performing again one last time.

So who are the remaining hopefuls who compete for X Factor 2010 glory:

Groups mentored by Simon Cowell:   One Direction

Girls mentored by Cheryl Cole:  Cher Lloyd, and Rebecca Ferguson

Boys mentored by Dannii Minogue: Matt Cardle

Over 28’s mentored by Louis Walsh:

*Matt Cardle* Opened the show singing ‘Here with Me’ by Dido it was a simple performance yet really beautiful, his vocals were really confident, a genuine believable performance, brilliant! I’m sure he will make it to the final 3!  Cheryl Cole said ‘’great song choice’’, Simon Cowell said ‘’fantastic song choice’’, Louis Walsh said ‘’we have to see you in the final’’.

Second song choice: was ‘Unfaithful’ by Rihanna it was a lovely duet between the two, Rihanna looked hot! Wow and she was very distracting from Matt, but they had good chemistry and it was an overall very good performance. The song suited his voice and it was a clever sexy and awkward.

*Rebecca Ferguson* was next to perform singing ‘Like A Star’ by Corinne Bailey Rae, it was a very beautiful performance . She sang with such confidence, she looked amazing and her vocals floated like a butterfly a brilliant song choice!  Louis Walsh said you are a class, class act, Dannii Minogue said ‘’you deserve to be in the final’’, Simon Cowell said ‘’I agree with Louis you are one of the nicest contests we have had’

*One Direction* were next to perform they  sang ‘Your Song’ by Elton John, which Ellie Goulding, has a single out with at the moment. It was brilliant performance. Dannii Minogue said ‘’you were throw together and have worked hard in the competition’’, Louis Walsh said ‘’no other boyband has caused such hysteria so early in its career, you deserve to be here’’

Song 1: http://xfactor.itv.com/2010/videos/video/watch_one-direction—your-song_item_201689.htm

Second song choice:  ‘She’s the One’ by Robbie Williams; I think the boys were a little star struck by performing with Robbie Williams. It was a nice performance but I was not overwhelmed considering he performed with Ollie Murs on last year’s show! I was hoping for something more original, the boys were so excitable, but it was a fun performance.

‘* Cher Lloyd* Was last to perform her first single, she did a medley of ‘The Clapping Song’  by Shirley Ellis and “Get your freak” on by Missy Elliot. It was a very lively  and original performance from the youngest , but compared to the other 3, I don’t think she has done enough to stay in the competition.  Simon Cowell said ‘’you smashed that, you are my favourite little brat’’

Song 1: http://xfactor.itv.com/2010/videos/video/watch_cher-lloyd—the-clapping-song_item_201690.htm

Second song choice:  ‘Where is the Love’ and ‘Tonight Gonna be a Good Night’ with Will I Am from the Black Eyed Peas. I really enjoyed this performance, it was playful and lively and I think Cher did really well!

Celebrity Performances:

Rihanna was next to perform her latest single, ‘What’s my Name’. She looked great in a black and white dress, it was flirty, sexy, confident and cheeky. Stripping down two a little two piece!  Wow Dermot O’Leary didn’t know where to look…

Next to perform was Christina Aguilera singing a promotional single for her moving debut Burlesque. It was a salutary and lively  performance I was impressed by the new curvy Christina, I forgot how well she could sing!

So through to the final are:

*Rebecca Ferguson* was first through, next was *One Direction*, and last but not least.. *Matt Cardle*!!

Leaving the competition tonight was *Cher Lloyd*, who came fourth. No surprise about that exit! I’m not sad that she did not win or make it through to the final 3 as I knew she will have a very good career ahead of here. We shall be seeing her again really soon!

Well, with biting nails, I shall be glued to my telly for tomorrow’s final! Who will be crowned X Factor winner??? Only the public can decide!!
