X Factor Gossip week 10
The theme of the show this week will be: Celebrity Duets
Oh yes, it’s going to be a big one for the final show of the X Factor 2010. Rumoured duets are as follows:
*Matt Cardle* and Rihanna
*Cher Lloyd* and Avril Lavigne
*One Direction* and Justin Bieber
*Rebecca Ferguson* and Christina Aguliera
It’s definitely the biggest weekend in the contestant’s lives so far, with them performing to an estimated audience of 16million people… That’s mega pressure! So who is going to win? Let take a look at each of the finalist and why each of them should win……
*Cher Lloyd*
She could win: As she is multi- talented, she is versatile and very marketable; there is no denying she has stage presence! She is confident, young enough to grow and home her skills, she sings and raps!
Why she might not win: Hmmm, she clearly has a split fan base, you either love her or hate her! Now it seems more people dislike her as she is coming off very arrogant and people are getting annoyed of her rapping!!
I bet: fourth place finish and more tears. We have already recommended Cher on 4th place. See Picks Section.

*Matt Cardle*
He could win: He has been the favourite throughout the show, a consistent performer and seems really sincere; he appeals to a wider audience!
Why he might not win: If he doesn’t get rid of his throat problem that he had last week it could be game over, his main threat is Rebecca. Also his confidence seems to be lacking as the other contestants have stepped up. Needs to do a spectacular grand finale.
I bet: His ‘girly’ songs have all been winners so far. Do I need to say more? Winner odds at 1.91 with Coral 30£ Free bet!, SkyBet 10£ in Free bets! and Betfred.

*One Direction*
They could win: They are the teen girls’ dream, you hear the screams after each performance and yes they have got better and better. The fan base is growing, also internationally!
Why they might not win: Really who’s going to vote for them other then teenage girls? Will these votes generate enough to win? Betfair 20£ in Free bets! agree with me and offer best price in the market with 4.50.
I bet: Uhh, a hard nut. They will finish 3rd and Simon Cowell will claim to be very proud of them, hee, hee.
*********************************************************************************************************
*Rebecca Ferguson*
She could win: She has an amazing voice and we have seen her grow in confidence each week. Her vocals are so impressive, strong and steady! She is a natural talent and a very popural contender!
Why she might not win: She doesn’t really put much of a performance on, rather just stand still in front of a microphone, not exactly exciting!
I bet: She will come second and will probably mention she is a mother and from Liverpool. Boylesports 20£ in Free bets!, Bluesquare 25£ Free Bet!, Paddy Power 50£ in Free bets!, Stan James £150 Free Bet and 888sport 50£ in Free bets! offer 4.33 for the Scouser to win.

Is it a fix?
TV watchdog Ofcom revealed it is investigating complaints from viewers who felt misled during last weekend’s shows. Due to the fact that, at the semi-final stage in previous years, there has been no sing-off and the decision was based purely on the public votes!
Viewers complained it’s a fix, as host Dermot O’Leary said at the start of Saturday’s programme: “Now it’s all in your hands. It’s your votes and your votes alone that can get your act safely through to the final.” However this was not the case as the two acts that had the least votes had to compete in a sing off!
Simon Cowell denied claims the show is a fix, saying: “We haven’t done anything wrong. All the artists knew there was going to be a sing-off. Mary and Cher were told last Monday to prepare a song for a sing-off if necessary.”
However axed contestant Mary Byrne said “It was only on Saturday I discovered that there would be a sing-off where the judges decided. It’s obvious Simon didn’t want me in the final and I get that. I’m not as marketable to him as Cher so he was never going to put me through. They fixed it for me to lose. It didn’t matter what the public think.”
Byrne continued: “The show’s a fix, of course it is. It’s not the show the public think it is. I knew the public had voted for me to stay on, and I actually thought the result would be based just on their vote.’’

Katie Waissel has told Grazia magazine she is struggling to cope after getting death threats while appearing on the show. She said “That was totally terrifying. I still won’t do anything on my own like go on the Tube or go shopping; I mean that’s how crazy this got. People might not like me but I don’t think I deserve that.”
