X Factor Live show 3

The theme of this week’s show: Guilty Pleasures

Well it’s the third week of the show for the remaining 12 contestants!  Last week Belle Amie were in the ‘Bottom 3′ so let’s hope they come back with vengeance!! Also Aiden Grimshaw was all over the place last week with nerves, so let’s hope his performance is going to be better!! Plus it’s going to be a single eviction!! Performing on the elimination show will be US sensation Michael Buble and the X factors own Cheryl Cole.
So who are the remaining hopefuls who compete for X Factor 2010 glory:

Groups mentored by Simon Cowell:   Belle Amine, and One Direction
Girls mentored by Cheryl Cole:  Cher Lloyd, Rebecca Ferguson, Katie Waissel, and wild card Treyc Cohen
Boys mentored by Dannii Minogue: Aiden Grimshaw, Matt Cardle and wild card Paije Richardson
Over 28’s mentored by Louis Walsh: Mary Bryne, John Adeleye and wild card Wagner Carrilho

*Paije Richardson* Sang ‘Ain’t Nobody’ by Chaka Khan. It was a beautiful performance, and his vocals were smooth and he looked really confident! I have to agree with Simon Cowell though his outfit was disgusting!  However on performance alone he was brilliant! I definitely see him back next week! Or will he face the curse of first on first out like Storm Lee???

Betting: Paddy Power 50£ in Free bets! offer you nine times your stake if this like-able guy leaves tonight. No way, Paije has the support he needs for one or two more weeks.

*John Adeleye* sang Zoom by the Commodores, it was a well known old song, and a tad cheesy!  John looked great; I liked the cute afro hair and the sliver jacket! He has such a beautiful voice! The judges were impressed with the vocals and the audience seem to like him! Sadly they all seemed to be distracted by the dancers! To be honest I did not even notice them, I was too engrossed in his singing which was brilliant! I think were see him next week, definitely!

Betting: Are we in for a surprise? 888sport 50£ in Free bets! and Bluesquare 25£ Free Bet! are down to odds 3.25 tonight as they think John will have to leave the show.

*Rebecca Ferguson* Sang ‘Why Don’t You Do Right’ by Nora Lee King. She was wearing a new look, a bit of a Jessica Rabbit thing going on, with the red hair and dress! It was a salutary performance, she looked good and I don’t doubt she will be here next week! The audience and the judges loved her! She gave an impressive performance and her voice is growing on me, but I agree with Dannii Minogue she did look older tonight!

Betting: Sportingbet 100£ in Free bets! offer you 8.00 for Scouse success. Rebecca has a successful career in front of her, but not sure if she can win the X Factor. Fierce competition.

*Cher Lloyd*  sang a mix of Shout by Tears for Fears and No Diggity by Blackstreet.  Wow what a performance! I have to say I was glued to the screen for the whole  song, I have no doubt this young lady will definitely go the whole hog, she is so confident! But please get that rat on her hair, it was a bigger red rat, why have this done this too this little girl!

Betting: The bookmakers have shortened her winner odds. Boylesports 20£ in Free bets! is best in the market with 13.00, while William Hill 25£ Free bet with code F25 is down to 9.00.

*Matt Cardle* sang ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ by Britney, it was an acoustic version, nice vocals but a really cheesy song choice! I can’t lie, I really liked his version though, he was stripped back and lost the hat and it was a great performance! I think he is a winner for me!  The audience went mad, and the judges loved it!

The Betting: Betfred £50 Free Bet offer the best price in the market with 2.75.

*One Direction* sang ‘Nobody Now’s’ by Pink. Wow what can I say, the boys killed the performance this week, its brilliant, beautifully sang!  The chemistry is there and  they will go far in the competition!

Betting: Unibet 30€ Bonus!’s 3.75 on the 2nd favourite, but I think there is no value. There is still a lot of competition.

*Treyc Cohen* sang ‘Whole Lotta Love’ by Led Led Zeppelin, Hmmm…. A rock single!!! No why?? She sang it brilliantly, but this is not her style and what’s with the red hair again! It seems Cheryl has put her stamp on these girls!

The Song: http://xfactor.itv.com/2010/videos/video/watch_live-show-3-treyc-cohen_item_201197.htm

Betting: This girl is an outsider, she can do it all. Maybe worth considering odds 7.50 for ‘Top Girl in the competition. Odds from William Hill.

*Mary Byrne* sang ‘I Who Have Nothing’ by Shirley Bassey. Wow another brilliant performance from this sassy Irish lass, she looked and sounded amazing!! The audience and judges went nuts. I have to say I agree with Dannii Minogue this week, she needs to sing a current song! Mary isn’t going anywhere this week though….!!

The Song: http://xfactor.itv.com/2010/videos/video/watch_live-show-3-mary-byrne_item_201198.htm

Betting: Her performance disappointed the bookies, and she is now priced up at 18.60 with Betfair. That means she is no longer a winner candidate…

*Aiden Grimshaw* sang ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ by Shirley Bassey , it was a better then last week, but I think it was a very boring performance….!!! Sorry Aiden, I just don’t think he has found his stride as yet! I’m not sure if he has done enough to NOT get voted off!  His confidence levels certainly were up! I have to agree with Cheryl Cole though and he should have made it more edgy! Overall the judges feel he is back into the running!

The Song: http://xfactor.itv.com/2010/videos/video/watch_live-show-3-aiden-grimshaw_item_201199.htm

Betting: Boylesports offer 34.00 on Aiden exit tonight. That’s an attractive price, but he will survive.

*Belle Amie* sang ‘I’ll Stand By You’ by Girls Aloud, I was disappointed, but I thought it was a good song choice, they sang nicely. Ok, ok…..it was not a fighting performance that will stand out, if you ask me! Louis Walsh ragged on the girls and had a dig at Simon Cowell, claiming he invest more time in the boy group One Direction! Ouch, harsh!!  Claws are out, meow….

The Song: http://xfactor.itv.com/2010/videos/video/watch_live-show-3-belle-amie_item_201200.htm

Betting: You get three times your money back from Paddy Power if Belle Amie get voted off.

*Wagner Carrilho * sang ‘Spice Up Your Life by The Spice Girls and Ricky Martin – Livin’ La Vida Loca, what can I say??? Wagner is  just   likeable…!!! But the vocals weren’t there for me this week and I sort of felt sorry for him! But it was fun to watch! Sadly I think he will go this week! It was a cheeky end! The audience loved him, they went wild, and the judges seemed a little dumbfounded! So who knows??

The Song: http://xfactor.itv.com/2010/videos/video/watch_live-show-3-wagner_item_201201.htm

Betting: I think Wagner is off. Elimination pays out 5.00 in odds with Sportingbet and Betfred. My bet of the evening.

* Katie Waissel* Sang ‘King Of the Swingers ‘from Jungle Book. She was the last contestant to perform, it was a fun, cheeky song and a quirky performance! Definitely very different,  a very clever song choice,  it was very entertaining I have to say! I still don’t like her and her hair is disgusting!  The judges loved it though, so I think she will be here for another week!  (Sadly)

The Song: http://xfactor.itv.com/2010/videos/video/watch_live-show-3-katie-waissel_item_201202.htm

Betting: Betfair 20£ in Free bets! offer 30.00 for her elimination. Katiehe is not the best-liked contestant, but she will survive.

This week’s eviction is going to be a tough one!  Well all I can say is that the contestants have stepped it up this week, bar a few! The performances have all been great and the competition is going to start to get interesting from now on!!  However I think that Belle Amie, Aiden Grimshaw and Wagner Carrilho will be in the bottom this week! But hey, I may have it wrong!
