The theme of the week: ‘Number 1’ singles.
Here are the 16 contestants who compete for X Factor 2010 glory!
Groups mentored by Simon Cowell: F.Y.D, Belle Amine, One Direction and wild card Diva Fever
Girls mentored by Cheryl Cole: Cher Lloyd, Rebecca Ferguson, Katie Waissel, and wild card Treyc Cohen
Boys mentored by Dannii Minogue: Aiden Grimshaw, Nicolo Festa, Matt Cardle and wild card Paije Richardson
Over 28’s mentored by Louis Walsh: Mary Bryne, Storm Lee, John Adeleye and wild card Wagner Carrilho
The super cool group *F.Y.D* opened the show with Billionaire by Travie McCoy ft Bruno Mars and it was a nice little performance. it was lively, but as the first act of the 16 certainly not memorable! In the days leading up to the 1st live show, this group was the bookmakers’ favourite to be evicted.

The result: Voted off. Out of the competition.
Next out was *Matt Cardle*, and he sang ‘When love takes over’ by David Guetta feat. Kelly Rowland. It was a good performance, he changed the melody of the song and put his own little twist on the dance anthem! I would keep my eye out for this likeable guy.

Betting: He is the bookmaker’s favourite at 5.50 with Stan James £150 Free Bet and Victor Chandler.
*John Adeleye* sang the Boys 2 Men classic ‘One sweet day’, which is a tough one if you ask me for a solo artist, however he sang it beautifully. Not so impressed with his his outfit though as white Jeans don’t really do it for me! It will be interesting to see what direction Louis will push him into, but I don’t expect John to last long in this competition.

Betting: In the bottom of the winner market with 70.00 with Unibet. NO BET for me.
*Rebecca Ferguson* the unconfident shy Liverpool lass sang, ’Tear Drops’ by Womack and Womack. She is tipped as one of the judges’ favourites! All I know is this lady comes in a very classy package and has a very unique sounding voice. Rebecca was deservedly praised all round!

Betting: Before 1st show, the odds were around 5.00. Now Bwin 20£ in Free bets! offers 7.00. The confidence issue worries me, but a unique voice though. She will get plenty of support.
*Storm Lee* is certainly not Simon’s favourite, that for sure! The Scottish-born singer performed ‘We built this city’ (Starship). Wow, I was loving the Batman look! An awesome performance, there is no doubt in my mind this guy can sing.

Betting: If he can turn down the theatrics, he will be a strong contender for weeks to come. Despite 67.00 from William Hill 25£ Free bet with code F25, NO BET from me.
*Belle Amie* is the girl group created by boot camp, and they sang ‘Airplanes’ by BoB. Although a cute performance, I’m not sure how well it worked! One girl stands out for me –and as a group they work pretty well together. Good chemistry.

Betting: 67 times your money with Sportingbet 100£ in Free bets! says it all. They will only be around for 2-3 more weeks. NO BET.
*Cher Lloyd* is the little girl who surprised the judges with her ghetto fabulous first audition. A lot of stuff has been said and written about this girl by the media – but she bounced back on Saturday with ‘Just be Good to Me’ by SOS Band remix version by Professor Green. It was a very confident performance from the youngster! I just wish they would get that rat of her head! Her hair is terrible!

Betting: 9.00 with Bwin is interesting as Cher is quite unique in the market. The judges like her. The public don’t. One bad performance, and she could be gone. Betfair 20£ in Free bets! with odds 32.00 if Cher gets eliminated this weekend. (Skybet with 17.00). I fancy a bit of that as Ladbrokes 50£ in Free bets! and William Hill offered only 15.00 for her exit last weekend. Cher exit? You bet!
